I don’t mean to be harsh, but I’m not sure any of us need a new outfit to feel any better. In fact, I think what we really need is a new wardrobe. We’ve all moved beyond the need for a new outfit to fit in, or a new outfit to look good on. We’ve all moved beyond the need for a new outfit to match our new shoes.
This may be where I lose some of my motivation, but Ive always wondered what the point of having a new outfit is, or if it even ever existed. It turns out, there are actually multiple reasons why we have new outfits. While most people probably wear their new outfits because they are cute, stylish, or fashionable (some people even wear them to go out and meet people), there are actually other reasons to have new outfits. The first is that a new outfit can often be a good way to disguise the fact that you are wearing a new outfit.
The second, and probably most important reason, is that wearing a new outfit doesn’t have to make your body look like it’s from the 70s. For example, I recently went to a club and had to dress like I was in the 60s. I had been saving the one piece of clothing that had the original color and pattern from the 60s.
I know people are constantly talking about the “80s” dress code, but I think it’s pretty evident that the 60s’ aesthetic was a lot more casual and laid-back than what we currently have. Plus, I have a ton of costume suggestions for you so you don’t have to decide in advance.
Yes, I agree. I was once again at a club in Chicago, and I had to buy a one piece outfit that was a cross between the 60s and the 80s and had a very retro look. I’m a huge fan of 70s and 80s so this was a pretty cool idea.
Well, this outfit is a cross between the 60s and the 80s, but it’s also a lot more casual. You can’t go wrong with this option.
The current outfit is a nice new addition to the game. If you like the 60s, you can probably get the 60s’ hairstyle, which looks very retro, but I think this is more casual than the 80s or 70s. A lot of people think it’s cool to have the 60s in the first place but I’m not sure how much fun you’d have in a 100’s outfit.
