jogging quotes

I love quotes. I don’t know about you, I love quotes. In fact, this quote that I love is from the book I’ve written called: Running in the Sand. The quote is from Dr. David Barker: “Running is like eating a cup of coffee. There are three phases of the experience: the first is going to the office. The second is going to the gym. The third is going to the office.

I love this quote from the book because it really sums up the point of running. The point is that running is just about getting where you want to go. It also says that running is about putting your mind into the state of being a runner and it’s about overcoming fear. So the point is to get to the point where you are running with no fear. To see that fear is irrelevant to your progress.

I have been doing some running and really enjoy it. However, I have been guilty of jumping on things too early. It’s too hard to concentrate on running at the end of a run, so I end up doing all the running in my life and then I don’t really enjoy it anymore because it’s not fun. It’s just running. Running is about overcoming fear. Running is not about getting somewhere. It is about running through the pain.

This quote is from the movie Running (2008), and is from the scene in which Michael Corleone murders his wife, Mary, and then takes her lifeless body to her death.

I’m really not sure that I want to write more about this. I just don’t feel like it.

In Running, Michael Corleone has to run through the pain of his grief, as the film portrays his wife’s death as a traumatic event which he had to endure. As a result of that pain, he loses his temper and takes out his frustrations on the people around him. He gets angry at the people who are responsible for her death, and at the people who let her go. The pain that he feels is what he must endure, to get through his grief and move on.
